DIGA Figueira - This is an APP that is part of the Smart City component of the Municipality of Figueira da Foz, and which allows people to report incidents through a simple and very intuitive interface configured specifically for mobile devices, and which makes it possible to report incidents in real time, with the advantage of typifying them according to the various thematic areas of the municipality and segmenting them according to their specificity.




It allows all types of incidents to be submitted, with the exception of those considered SERIOUS and requiring IMMEDIATE INTERVENTION. In these cases, the alternative channels of the security forces and municipal civil protection should be used.




Users can access the application and report the incident, indicating the location on the map, typifying the situation, attaching a photograph to illustrate it and filling in a set of simple identification details so that the platform can automatically interact with them during the resolution of the incident. Once the incident has been submitted to the platform, it will be registered automatically. The technical staff responsible in the municipality will be automatically notified by email and SMS. After analyzing and validating the content and type of incident, the platform will automatically forward it to the relevant service for resolution. During the process, the citizen will be informed of the resolution, with additional information whenever necessary, using the pre-established channels (SMS and EMAIL).
